Maria Panagiotidou 

Maria Panagiotidou is the Zero Carbon Buildings Lead at the City of Melbourne, where she focuses on the decarbonisation of existing buildings. Her work draws on experience across both local and international contexts, including roles as an ESD Consultant and Architect. This practice is supported by a strong academic background, including a Master’s degree in Architectural Engineering and Environmental Studies, a PhD on optimising building retrofits, and a postdoctoral fellowship focused on solar technologies in the urban environment.
