Jack Blackwell

Jack is a Zero Carbon Buildings Officer at the City of Melbourne, where he also focuses the decarbonistation of existing buildings. Jack also leads the CitySwitch program for the City of Melbourne, which helps office-based businesses reduce their greenhouse gas emissions through education campaigns, resources and peer-to-peer knowledge sharing. His work draws on his extensive industry experience as a sustainability engineer for commercial and other non-residential buildings. Jack has a deep connection to engineering practice, with a Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy Engineering, specialising in low energy building design.
