Stuart Lawrence

Stuart Lawrence is the application and innovation engineer at Stiebel Eltron Australia, based in Melbourne. He trained as a mechanical design engineer in the UK building a strong technical foundation in product development and applied engineering.  

With well over 15 years of experience in the commercial hot water industry, he has developed a deep understanding of system design and performance in large-scale buildings. His work has spanned product development, application engineering, and lifecycle optimisation, with a strong focus on bringing new technologies to market. He has led the development and launch of innovative hot water solutions, translating complex technical requirements into reliable, high-performing products suited to real-world commercial environments. 

His focus is on advancing electricity-driven technologies that deliver high performance, reliability, and energy efficiency. He is particularly driven to support the transition to low-emissions systems across Australia and New Zealand by developing innovative, practical hot water solutions that meet evolving regulatory, environmental, and customer requirements.
